Delete your account
You can delete your Little Big Name account — and all the data that goes with it — at any time, in either of two ways. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
From the app (recommended)
- Open Little Big Name.
- Go to Settings (the last tab).
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, write to us and we will delete it for you:
Tell us the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, and write from that same address so we can verify the account is yours. If you used the app as a guest (without linking Google or Apple), say so and we will explain how to verify it.
What is deleted, and when
- Immediately: your account, your activity (names you swiped, favorites and matches), your profile name, your photo and the link with your partner.
- Your analytics history is not deleted: it is anonymized. Deleting your account destroys the only link between you and the pseudonymous identifier, so the remaining events can no longer be attributed to any person.
- Server access logs (which contain your IP address) are deleted 7 days after each access, deletion or not.
- Deleted data also disappears from our backups within 30 days at most.

Only some data, without deleting your account?
You can also ask us to delete specific data while keeping your account — your photo or your activity, for example. Some of it you can delete yourself in the app (your photo from your profile, favorites from their tab, the link with your partner from Settings); for anything else, write to hello@littlebigname.com from your account's email address saying what you want deleted, and we will do it. The same timelines above apply.
Your subscription is not canceled automatically
Subscriptions are managed by your store, not by the app: deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it from the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account.
